HandyCard and TaxiSaver

HandyCARD is for anyone who has either a permanent physical or cognitive disability with difficulty accessing conventional transit. An attendant assisting a HandyCard holder  may travel on the regional transit network free of charge.

If you live within the TransLink service area, HandyCard allows travel at concession fare prices on the bus, SkyTrain, SeaBus, and West Coast Express, and if someone needs to travel with you to provide assistance, can travel with you for free. You must be 12 or older to be eligible for HandyCard.

HandyCard is for travel on conventional transit and can't be used on HandyDART. If your trip includes HandyDART, you'll pay regular adult fare rates.

Taxi Saver Program supplements HandyDART. Persons with a HandyCard can purchase books of taxi tickets from the Coast Mountain Bus Company. For more information contact: Access Transit Customer Care office at 604.953.3680.
